Over the past year, I have been buying lots of books (mostly related to design/web design) from Amazon. I get one in the mail, and super excited, dive into it, only to not finish the book and put it on my shelf. I get another book and get distracted. I get bored with it. I move on to a different topic.
I wonder whether I aught to impose a rule on myself whereby I must complete a book before buying another one.
Is it bad that I am not finishing my books? Am I missing out? Or am I gleaming enough from each to get the gist and benefitting from picking up a breadth of books?
